The owner, Claire, was friendly and even left us delicious scones as a welcome treat. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the area and loved being able to unwind at the local pub just a short distance away. we highly recommend Katie's Cottage for a wonderful getaway.

We didn't need to use our car as there was ample public transport available to take us to other nearby locations. The cottage itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. Claire, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the delicious scones she left for us were a lovely touch.

For dads, it would be great to have a small play area for the children in the cottage's garden.

The bathroom with the bath or shower was so cozy and inviting after a long day exploring. I loved being able to choose between a relaxing soak or a quick refreshing shower. It made me feel like I was pampering myself on vacation.

Enjoyed playing golf and cycling in the area, although I almost fell off the bike! Thank goodness for the complimentary WiFi, it distracted me from my embarrassing moments. The fireplace was cozy, but I managed not to set fire to the sofa!
